Bald men are perceived as lacking something. For example, when describing a male, it is often said, “He is bald, but he is still attractive, nice, sexy, etc.” This is an especially sensitive issue when one is attempting to be a matchmaker. Being bald is rarely an asset. It is a quality that has to be offset in a big way by some other redeeming feature.
