Prostate

The prostate is a chestnut shaped gland necessary for healthy ejaculation. When ejaculate passes through the urethra, the prostate emits fluid to add to the sperm before it is ejaculated through the penis. While the prostate gland does involve the urinary system, it is wrapped around the urethra and is located below the bladder. Since both urine and ejaculate must pass through the urethra, males with unhealthy prostate glands typically experience urinary and sexual malfunctioning.
