OmegaBrite Gelcaps Overall Review: 3 out of 5.
Both EPA and DHA are essential omega-3 fatty acids that are not produced by the body, but instead, need to be found in our diets. While we can get these fatty acids from various fish, our diets today are not always conducive to enough. This is why many people seek out supplements of fish oils, and many studies overwhelmingly suggest that they can be extremely beneficial for the body.
In the 1970s, a group of researchers studied the Inuit Tribe of Greenland. They noticed that they ate quite a bit of meat, but had a very low percentage of people with heart disease. This led them to conclude that the omega-3 fatty acids they were consuming at high levels were playing a large role in preventing this.
Users are directed to take three capsules each day, preferably with food to prevent the onset of an upset stomach. Doses may be increased after two weeks if the desired results are not achieved. These doses should be gradually increased, with a limit of six per day – or as directed by a healthcare professional.
