Puritan’s Pride Joint Soother Overall Review: 3 out of 5.
One of them is glucosamine sulfate. This is the name given to glucosamine when it is packaged and sold as a dietary supplement, usually taken from shellfish. The glucosamine in our bodies is an amino sugar that plays a large role in the foundation of connective tissue, helping cartilage, ligaments, etc. function at normal levels. Without enough glucosamine being produced, the health of our joints – and other areas – can be to go downhill quickly.
Vitamin D3 is important for overall bone strength and growth. While we can get this version of Vitamin D readily from the sun, people are commonly deficient in it. For this reason, it is included in many supplements; not just supplements aimed at providing joint health.
The herbal ingredient Boswellia Serrata finds its way into this formula as well. It is often used in these supplements and other remedies to fight much of the inflammation associated with arthritis, thereby potentially alleviating some of the pain.
Users are directed to take one pill each day, preferably with food to prevent upset stomach. While this product reportedly should not cause upset stomachs, each person’s biology is different. When taken with food, this can reduce this chance. Likewise, parts of this product are taken from shellfish; users with shellfish allergies are not advised to take Joint Soother.
